IRVINE, Calif. - The Concordia combo of junior catcher Morgan Kneubuhler and sophomore pitcher Kacie Gossett was voted to both the D2CCA and NFCA All-Region squads after stellar 2026 campaigns.

Kneubuhler made First Team All-Region when the Monday announcement was given by the Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). Gossett made Second Team.

Both student-athletes were also given the exact same honors by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) last Friday during the NCAA DII Regional Tournament.

Kneubuhler was the PacWest Newcomer of the Year and First Team All-Conference after leading both Concordia and the entire PacWest in home runs this season. Kneubuhler is one of only a dozen DII softball players in the nation that have hit 17 or more homers in 2026. She also led CUI with 58 RBI and hit .400 during the regular season.

Kneubuhler caught the majority of games by Gossett this season and the sophomore pitcher was also named Second Team All-PacWest earlier this month. Gossett led CUI in wins (15), complete games (14), innings pitched (148.0), games started in the circle (23) and strikeouts (97).

Concordia completed the 2026 season with an overall record of 43-17 after finishing the regular season in first place in the PacWest standings for the seventh time in 10 years. The Golden Eagles also made the NCAA DII Regional for the eighth straight year and have now won four consecutive PacWest Conference Tournaments to claim the automatic bid for the league.
