IRVINE, Calif. – Sophomore forward
Bryan Maldonado helped wreak havoc on the pitch for the Concordia Golden Eagles during the men's recent road trip to Colorado.
He was rewarded for his efforts as the new PacWest Men's Soccer Player of the Week.
Maldonado was the only Golden Eagle to tally a point in each of Concordia's two road matches.
The Harbor City, Calif. native scored on a penalty kick to help the Green and Gold salvage
a hard-fought 2-2 draw at Colorado Christian last Thursday. He also assisted
Andy Jun on the senior's second half goal during a key stretch of
Concordia's 4-1 victory over Colorado School of Mines.

Jonas Pearson all finished the week with a goal and assist to lead the Concordia offense with three points apiece. Junior
Marcus Ozmai also scored his first goal of the 2026 season and forward
George Peterson net his first career goal as a Golden Eagle during the big win over Mines.
Concordia has a great opportunity on the horizon as it hosts No. 18 Cal State San Bernardino this Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 6:30 p.m. PT. CUI then heads north to Fresno Pacific for a Saturday evening match later this week.
