The career leader in 10 of 14 offensive categories, Derek Patterson established himself as the most productive hitter in Concordia history.
    Patterson is the school record-holder for career hits (235), home runs (31), RBI (163), runs (170), doubles (54), extra-base hits (97), total bases (406), walks (102), at-bats (661) and multi-hit games (70).
    A career .356 hitter, Patterson was named the Golden State Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2000 after setting several school single-season records, including nine high-water marks that still rank in the Top-10 as of his induction date.
    Patterson earned a pair of All-GSAC and All-NAIA Region II awards and was named a GSAC Scholar-Athlete in 1999.

After Graduation

    After playing in 180 career games as an Eagle, Patterson went on to play seven years of minor league baseball, where he hit .272 with 44 home runs and 232 RBI in 436 games. In the 2002-03 seasons, Patterson played for Milwakee Brewers Class-A affiliate High Desert.
