The Men's Volleyball Team swept Cal Lutheran in three sets Wednesday night 25-13, 25-21, 25-21.

Joey Pillon led the Eagles with a .500 hitting percentage and 13 kills. Ryan Anselmo added 13 kills of his own and two service aces. Chandler Gibb had 27 assists, five digs and two block assists. Alec Krilis added four kills, one ace, two digs and four block assists. Andrew Hammer put away eight kills to go along with four digs.

The Eagles captured set one behind a .478 team hitting percentage. They also held Cal Lutheran to a -.067 hitting percentage. They scored 12 points on kills and only committed one error.

In set two, Concordia buried 13, but also gave away 11 points. Although they only hit .074, the Kingsmen helped the Eagles out with their .000 hitting percentage.

Concordia's offense bounced back in set three. The Eagles generated 16 kills for a .444 hitting percentage.

Now 17-10, the Eagles will go up against Long Beach State on Friday at 7 p.m. in the Walter Pyramid.
