No. 1 seed - Concordia University Irvine Eagles
The two-time PacWest Conference champions became just the second PacWest softball team to win at least 30 conference games in a single season this year. 2019 PacWest Pitcher of the Year & D2CCA All-Region Pitcher of the Year
Callie Nunes has tossed four no-hitters in her sophomore campaign and leads all of DII with 33 victories this year. Nunes earned her most recent no-no
in a 4-0 win over Academy of Art that delivered CUI head coach
Crystal Rosenthal career win No. 500 as leader of the Eagles. In all, 11 different CUI softball players
were recognized on the PacWest All-Conference teams and seven different Eagles were named to All-Region squads.
PacWest Freshman of the Year Sydney Sprinkle led CUI with a .399 batting average and a team-high nine homers in the regular season. First-Team All-PacWest third baseman
Amanda Gjertsen leads the Green and Gold with 44 RBI while shortstop
Sarah Kretschmar has started every game this season and provides solid defense on the left side of the diamond. The Eagles also earned the No. 1 ranking in the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) DII poll
for the first time in school history in March during a stretch where they rattled off 16 straight victories. CUI enters the Super Regional on a season-high 18-game winning streak.

No. 2 seed - UC San Diego Tritons
The UC San Diego Tritons enter the Super Regional after knocking off Chico State twice this past Saturday. The Tritons have won 35 contests this season, and went 24-9 in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA). They are led by D2CCA First Team All-Region selection Robyn Wampler who enters Thursday 22-7 with a 1.86 ERA as UC San Diego's primary pitcher. UC San Diego's Patti Gerckens is in her 26th season as Tritons head coach and helped lead her school to back-to-back appearances in the DII national championship games in 2011 and 2012. The Tritons won the title in 2011 and finished runner-up the following year.
Tritons freshman outfielder Keila Bosinger also made D2CCA Second-Team All-Region and is hitting a robust .385 at the plate. Mikaila Reyes and infielder Maddy Lewis have started every game for the Tritons, with Lewis ranked first on the squad with 18 steals in 21 attempts. UC San Diego has five different players with at least 10 steals this year, including Danielle Stedman who is a perfect 13-for-13 on the base paths.
