IRVINE, Calif. - For the second time this season, CUI right-hander Katlin Entrup is your PacWest Conference Pitcher of the Week.

Entrup went 3-0 this past week with two starts that included a complete game shutout against CUI's rivals from Biola. 

In those three appearances, Entrup struck out ten batters and allowed zero earned runs in 14.1 innings pitched.  The sophomore also only allowed six total hits in those three games and just one unearned run.

The Claremont native leads CUI with a perfect 9-0 record and also owns an impressive 1.14 ERA.

Entrup and the entire pitching staff have led Concordia to a 24-0 start overall and 12-0 record so far in league play. The 24 wins out the gate are also a program-best for most wins in a row to open a season.

CUI has been ranked on the national stage ever since the season started and was slotted No. 2 in the NFCA DII national rankings in each of the past two weeks.

The Eagles host Chaminade on Monday, March 21 to open up a 12-game homestand against the three PacWest schools from the state of Hawai'i.
