IRVINE, Calif. - Both of our Concordia University Irvine men's and women's swim and dive teams reeled in a ton of academic awards after excelling both in and out of the pool this past school year.
For the sixth straight semester, the CUI women's team (3.57 GPA) and men's squad (3.01 PA) earned CSCAA Scholar All-American Honors.

In addition, freshman
Ryan Burke capped off an impressive season as a CSCAA Scholar All-American. She posted a cumulative GPA of at least 3.50 while also earning a NCAA qualifying time in the 200 butterfly. CUI has now earned 25 Scholar All-Americans since becoming eligible in 2018.

A combined 31 individual CUI student-athletes also earned All-PCSC Academic Team Honors by earning at least a 3.0 grade point average during the 2021-22 school year. Only sophomores, juniors and seniors are eligible to be recognized in this way by the PCSC.
17 of those 31 Eagles carried a 3.50 GPA or higher and thus made the First Team. GPAs between 3.49-3.20 are Second Team and 3.19-3.00 earned Honorable Mention.

Both swim and dive teams enjoyed memorable seasons this past school year. The men's swim and dive team at Concordia won the PCSC Championship for the second time in four years this past February.
