IRVINE, Calif. – For the third straight season, the Concordia University Irvine women's soccer team qualified for the NCAA DII West Regional Tournament.
This also marks the second time in a row that CUI will travel down to San Diego to play in the section of the bracket hosted by PacWest Conference rival and league champion Point Loma.
Plus, CUI earned the No. 6 seed and will face No. 3 Hawaii Hilo for the second game in a row this Thursday, Nov. 21 at 10:00 a.m. in a rare morning match.

The Golden Eagles enter the regional round with a 13-2-2 overall record. CUI opened the season with eight straight shutouts and a 7-0-1 record. The only two losses came at APU during conference play and that last match against Hawaii Hilo in the PacWest Tournament. CUI went an impressive 9-1-1 in league action which was the same record as the Vulcans.

The winner of Thursday's matinee will face either No. 2 seed Point Loma or No. 7 seed Simon Fraser, who pulled an upset to win the automatic bid as GNAC Tournament Champs.
