Paradis Sets the Pace, Golden Eagles Set the Tone

IRVINE, Calif. – The Concordia University Irvine Track and Field team competed across two meets on May 2nd and 3rd, including the Steve Scott Invitational and the Oxy Invitational. The Golden Eagles delivered a school record, national marks, and several top finishes as they prepare for the postseason.

Steve Scott Invitational 

In the women's 800 meter run, Porshe Eismann finished 8th with a time of 2:12.81.

In the men's hammer throw, Hunter Hornaday threw 52.73 meters, placing 6th overall.

Jasmyn Crawford claimed 1st place in the women's long jump with a leap of 6.17 meters.

In the men's 110 meter hurdles, Parker Williams placed 2nd with a time of 14.18, followed by Joshua Collier in 5th at 14.47.

Oxy Invitational 

Jori Paradis set a new school record and hit a national provisional mark in the women's 1500 meter run with a time of 4:25.04.

Next Up

The Golden Eagles will compete next at the Franson Last Chance Meet hosted by Azusa Pacific University on Thursday, May 9 and Friday, May 10.
