Concordia Women's Tennis dropped a pair of PacWest games this week to Point Loma and Azusa Pacific. 

The contest with the Sea Lions was close, but Point Loma pulled off the 5-4 win. CUI won two of three doubles games, but were victorious in only two singles games. Anastasiia Kuprina defeated Nikki Newell 6-2, 6-1 in the no. 1 match. Ghada Al-ajeely also won in two sets, defeating Michelle Torres 6-4, 6-4. In doubles play, Kuprina and Samantha Schuster were victorious by a score of 8-4. Johanna Keeline and Ghazal Pakbaten also won 8-4. 

Against APU, the Cougars swept the Eagles for their sixth straight win. Tuesday, CUI Tennis returns to Newport Beach, Calif. for a face off with Cal State Los Angeles beginning at 2 p.m.
