Women's Tennis defeated Arizona Christian University with the score of 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon and extended the team's overall record to 7-7 this season.
Starting with doubles, the duo of Anastasiia Kuprina and Samantha Schuster swept their opponents at the No. 1 spot with the score of 8-2. Johanna Keeline and Ghazal Pakbaten got a confident win in the No. 2 spot, 8-3. The Eagles headed into singles competition with the 2-1 advantage.
Kuprina defeated a senior Mikayla Morgan with the score of 6-1, 6-7, 6-1 in the top flight. Pakbaten followed suit, beating Maria Garduno at the No. 2 spot, 6-3, 6-2. Keeline took care of the business on court three, defeating Tia Okano with the score of 6-3, 6-4. Schuster swept senior Autria Compton on court four, 6-1, 6-0. Ghada Al-ajeely and Kathrine Jensen picked up two more points for the Eagles to secure the win. Al-Ajeely defeated her opponent, 7-6 6-4 and Jensen picked up a win with the score of 6-3, 6-1.
