Concordia Women's Tennis earned a win over the University of Hawaii Hilo Saturday at the Costa Mesa Tennis Center.
The Eagles went 2-1 in doubles play against the Vulcans.
Anastasiia Kuprina and
Samantha Schuster earned an 8-7 win and
Johanna Keeline and
Ghazal Pakbaten dominated with an 8-1 win. In singles competition, Concordia added four more victories over the Vulcans. Kuprina won the No. 1 flight in two sets with scores of 6-0 and 6-4. Pakbaten followed with a two set win while Keeline pulled off the three set win (5-7, 6-4, 10-7).
Kathrine Jensen notched the final Eagle point, winning her game 6-3, 6-3.
What's Next: The Eagles improved their record to 8-7 and will face Azusa Pacific next. The Cougars and Concordia face off on Wed. March 28 at 2 p.m. in Azusa, Calif. The 29th, they will go against the Point Loma Sea Lions.
