USA Cheer, the National governing body for cheer, announced the 2018 STUNT All-Americans and the list included four Eagles.
MacKenzie Feeken,
Makenna Cox,
Kayce De Leon and
Joanna Rivers earned the accolade. Feeken, a junior, was named to the first team. Cox, De Leon and Rivers grabbed a spot on second team. For Div. II, 16 first team and nine second team selections were made.
Concordia STUNT put together a successful campaign in 2018, including wins over Vanguard, Cal Baptist, RCC, UC Davis, BYU, University of California, Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara CC. The Eagles' opened up the year with a win over Vanguard, and followed up with a 14-13 victory over the Lancers. They went 4-1 at the Sacramento State Tournament and 4-0 at the Shamrock Tournament. Concordia concluded the year with a 17-10 win over University of California.
Women's STUNT is a new varsity sport derived from cheerleading and launched by USA Cheer. In its eighth season at the college level, STUNT has become one of the fastest growing female sport in the country. It takes the athletic skills of cheerleading, such as jumps, stunts and tumbling and creates a game format where teams go head-to-head against each other. 28 teams competed in the 2018 season.
The STUNT All Americans were selected by a committee of coaches from various regions along with several STUNT officials. Nominees for All American are athletes who exhibited superior skills and techniques, good game sense and knowledge of STUNT. They also needed to have participated in at least half of the games or tournaments for at least 50 percent of the routines.

The USA Federation for Sport Cheering is a not-for-profit organization and is the national governing body for all disciplines of cheerleading. USA Cheer exists to serve the entire cheer community, including club cheering (All Star), traditional school based cheer programs and the new sport of STUNT. USA Cheer has three primary objectives: help grow and develop interest and participation in Cheer throughout the United States; promote safety and safety education for cheer in the United States; and represent the United States of America in international cheer competitions.
