IRVINE, Calif. - Senior outside hitter Kirra Schulz has been selected to the D2CCA First Team All-West Region as well as AVCA Honorable Mention All-Region in women's volleyball.
Both announcements took place Wednesday afternoon to recognize all of Kirra Schulz's miraculous contributions throughout the season.
Kirra Schulz is a memorable player for the Golden Eagles women's volleyball program. Not only did Schulz earn Player of the Week three times this season, but she was recently honored with PacWest Conference Player of the Year and All-PacWest First Team. She is the first Concordia volleyball player to be awarded this honor. Schulz left her mark with 444 kills on the season, set a school record for most kills in 5-set match with 34 kills, and hit her 1,000 kills milestone.
She also led CUI in both kills and digs for the second straight year and achieved seventeen double-doubles throughout the entire season (10 in a row).
