Dallas, Texas – After the home opener against Hope International, the Concordia University Irvine stunt team embarked to Texas for their first big tournament of the season. On Thursday, Feb. 15, CUI stunt earned their first ever win as a NCAA DII-sponsored sport and didn't stop there!

Over the course of the tournament, the Golden Eagles faced off against Southern Nazarene University, Drury, UT Tyler, and Oklahoma Baptist. The Green and Gold repeatedly rose to the occasion and blew away the competition with its energy and precision. Preparation was the key to Concordia's success.

The matches were scored as follows: CUI 21 - SNU 0, CUI 21 – Drury 1, CUI 21 - UT Tyler 0, and CUI 5 - OBU 22.

With three blowout victories under its belt, Concordia remained undefeated until its run in with Oklahoma Baptist University who proved to be a welcome challenge. The Golden Eagles wrapped up the weekend with an impressive record of 3-1.

CUI Stunt is on the road again for its matches against Ottawa and Arizona State on February 23 & 24. 

The next home CUI stunt match will be on Tuesday, March 5 at 7 p.m.
