IRVINE, Calif. - Congrats are in order for Concordia women's tennis player Emilie Lugon-Moulin, who capped off her freshman season as the ITA DII Regional Rookie of the Year.

A First Team All-PacWest selection, Lugon-Moulin helped Concordia win 16 matches this season. The CUI women made the NCAA DII West Regional for the third time in four years.

Lugon-Moulin was an incredible 17-4 in singles play this spring while playing mostly at the No. 2 spot. 14 of her 17 wins in singles came in just two sets.

In addition, she went an impressive 16-2 with doubles teammate Bryn Johnson - with the majority of those matches coming at the No. 2 position.

She was also named PacWest Player of the Week in April and helped CUI rattle off a 9-game winning streak in the final two months of season.
