IRVINE, Calif. – The CUI women's lacrosse team continued their strong start to the season with a convincing 15-5 win over UC Irvine on February 19th. The Golden Eagles showcased an all-around dominant performance, with contributions from all areas of the field.

The Golden Eagles wasted no time taking control of the game. Sophia Lindall led the charge with a perfect shooting performance, scoring one goal on her lone shot. Samantha Gomez was also efficient, finishing 2-for-2 with 2 goals. Meanwhile, Sofia Serrato kept up her strong play, recording 3 goals from 5 shots.
Melinda Ibanez scored on her only shot of the game, and Alexandria Bennett was key in the attack, tallying 2 goals on 5 shots, along with 2 assists. Lexi Miner had a breakout performance, netting 4 goals from 5 shots and leading the offensive charge.Trinity Schelin and Mia Mongan each added a goal on a single shot attempt.
In goal, both Kylie Glover and Darby McGregor made important contributions, each registering 1 save to help secure the win.
