IRVINE, Calif. – The CUI women's lacrosse team delivered a dominant performance in their 17-2 win over CSUN, showing strong teamwork and skill on both ends of the field.

The Golden Eagles came out strong from the start. Courtney Miller led the charge, with one goal off of one shot and adding two assists. Sophia Lindall was also a key contributor, scoring two goals on four shots. Sofia Serrato was perfect on the day, going 2-for-2 and scoring two goals from her two shots.
Several players joined in on the action, with Melinda Ibanez, Genevieve Maczko, Abby Broadwell, Trinity Schelin, and Mia Mongan each scoring on their lone attempts, finishing 1- for-1. Jessi Borton also added two goals on two shots, alongside one assist, while Lexi Miner followed, going 2-for-2 with two goals. Riley Finch completed the offensive effort, scoring 1 goal and dishing out 2 assists.
Both goalkeepers, Darby McGregor and Kylie Glover, saw playing time and kept CSUN at bay. McGregor recorded 1 save, while Glover finished with 2 saves, helping secure the win.
Next Game
The Golden Eagles will hit the road for their next game on Wednesday, March 12, at 4:30 PM, when they take on Fullerton College. CUI is eager to keep their momentum rolling and continue building on their strong performance.
