Santa Barbara, Calif – The Concordia University Irvine women's lacrosse team closed out the weekend Sunday morning with a 12–8 victory over Stanford in Santa Barbara.

The Golden Eagles delivered a balanced performance on both ends of the field, earning a non-conference win against Stanford. Presley Macktinger led the offensive effort with four goals, consistently creating scoring chances and setting the tone for CUI's attack.
Jessi Borton, Lexi Miner, and Riley Finch each added two goals, while Courtney Miller, Macktinger, and Riley Finch all recorded assists as Concordia moved the ball efficiently and capitalized on scoring opportunities.
Defensively, the Golden Eagles stayed composed throughout the contest, limiting Stanford's offensive runs and forcing tough shots. Darby McGregor anchored the defensive unit in goal, finishing with 10 saves to help preserve the lead across all four quarters.
With the win, Concordia wrapped up the weekend with another strong team performance as the Golden Eagles continue non-conference play.
