NASHVILLE, Ten. - The Concordia University stunt team followed the sweet sounds of music and flew on down to Nashville for the Music City Classic, hosted by Trevecca Nazarene. Both teams sit in the College Stunt Division II Top 10 Rankings, with Concordia ahead at No. 7 and Trevecca Nazarene at No. 8. 

CUI Stunt narrowly fell to Trevecca Nazarene in the tournament opener. Although the Trojans had a 3-1 advantage in the first quarter, Concordia persisted and collected enough points to cause the Trojans to worry. 

Everything came down to the final rounds. The Golden Eagles performed the movements to best of their ability, but Trevecca Nazarene captured the victory with a two-point lead, ending the match 13-15. 

The Golden Eagles are just getting started. On Friday, March 28, the Green and the Gold go toe-to-toe with Maryville and Purdue Northwest. The start times are at 9:30 a.m. (PST) and 4:30 p.m. (PST), respectively.
